The Shimano RT-CL900 is the Dura-Ace grade Ice-Tech Centerlock disc rotor — the top of Shimano's road rotor hierarchy. It takes the Ice-Tech aluminium-core sandwich and adds a dedicated heat dissipation paint coating to the carrier, pulling brake heat away even faster on sustained descents. The redesigned arm shape tightens up rotor resonance so braking is quieter than any previous Shimano road rotor, without any compromise to thermal performance or weight. At 96g (140mm) and 114g (160mm), it's also Shimano's lightest full-ice-tech road rotor.
Internal spline lock ring (IS). The RT-CL900 uses Shimano's Centerlock system with an internal spline lock ring — the standard Centerlock tool fits directly. Not the external serration version. Confirm your hub is Centerlock-compatible before ordering.
