The Shimano RD-R7150 is the 12-speed Di2 electronic rear derailleur at the heart of the 105 R7150 groupset. It replaces cables and barrel adjusters with a battery-powered motor that positions the chain precisely across all 12 sprockets, every single shift. The result is consistent, repeatable performance that doesn't degrade as components wear — and when paired with Di-Sync shift synchronisation, the system auto-manages cross-chain geometry so you never have to think about it.
Direct Mount interface. The RD-R7150 uses Shimano's Direct Mount standard — it bolts directly to a compatible derailleur hanger without a traditional bolt-through adapter. Confirm your frame has a Shimano Direct Mount hanger before ordering. Not compatible with standard (bolt-on) derailleur hangers without an adapter.
