Built for Every Terrain. Raced on All of Them.
The Winspace G3 Gravel Frameset represents the most ambitious step forward in Winspace's gravel program. Lighter and stiffer than the G2 it replaces, with refined aerodynamics and a modern component specification, the G3 is built for riders who take gravel seriously — whether that means lining up at Unbound, loading up for a multi-day bikepacking route, or simply riding further and faster on the roughest roads you can find. The Pearl White colourway brings a clean pearl white finish with silver Winspace branding — distinctive on the start line, timeless everywhere else.
Crafted from a three-weave Toray T700, T800, and M40 carbon fibre layup, the G3 frame weighs approximately 950g in size M. A matching full-carbon fork (~450g) and carbon seatpost (~130g) are included. The specification is thoughtfully modern: a T47-68 threaded bottom bracket shell for creak-free power transfer, fully internal cable routing compatible with every major electronic and mechanical groupset, a Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH) for easily sourced replacement parts, and tyre clearance up to 700x50C across all sizes. It runs both 700C and 650B wheel sizes — a practical advantage when conditions or terrain demand a different setup.
The G3 is built around a simple idea: that a gravel frame should be light enough to race, strong enough to carry a load, and versatile enough to run whatever tyres the route demands. The T47 BB, UDH hanger, and fully internal routing are not afterthoughts — they're the spec choices of a frame designed to be lived in, serviced easily, and ridden for years.

Size Guide
Frame size is based on seat tube length. Rider height is a guide — inseam length and riding position preferences also matter. If you are between sizes, a professional bike fit is the best way to confirm. Contact us if you'd like help choosing.
| Size | Seat Tube | Rider Height (guide) | Stack / Reach |
|---|---|---|---|
| XS (440) | 440mm | 155–165cm | 539 / 363 |
| S (460) | 460mm | 163–172cm | 551 / 370 |
| M (480) | 480mm | 170–178cm | 568 / 377 |
| L (510) | 510mm | 176–184cm | 582 / 388 |
| XL (540) | 540mm | 182–190cm+ | 601 / 399 |
Bottom Bracket Compatibility
The G3 uses a T47-68 threaded bottom bracket shell. This is a threaded shell with a 68mm shell width and T47 threads. It is not a standard BSA/English threaded shell. You will need a T47 bottom bracket — specifically one designed for the 68mm shell width (sometimes labelled "T47 external" or "T47-68"). Standard T47 BBs designed for road frames with narrower shells will not span this correctly. Here is a quick compatibility guide:
| Groupset | Crank Interface | BB Required |
|---|---|---|
| Shimano GRX / 105 / Ultegra / Dura-Ace (12-speed) | Hollowtech II (24mm spindle) | T47-68 external bearing BB (e.g. Wheels Mfg T47-24) |
| SRAM Force / Rival AXS / Apex AXS (DUB) | DUB (28.99mm spindle) | T47-68 DUB BB (e.g. SRAM T47 DUB or Wheels Mfg T47-DUB) |
| Campagnolo (12-speed Ultra Torque) | Ultra Torque (25mm) | T47-68 UT BB (e.g. Wheels Mfg T47-25) |
| Rotor, Praxis, other direct-fit cranks | Varies | Check manufacturer's T47-68 compatibility table |
Note: The bottom bracket is not included in the frameset kit. If you're unsure which BB to order for your crankset, contact us before purchasing — getting this right at the start avoids unnecessary returns and delays in your build.
Groupset & Build Compatibility
The G3's fully internal cable routing is designed around the FSA ACR headset system, which acts as a cable/hose entry port at the fork crown. This is a well-established system and compatible with the following drivetrains:
- Mechanical: Any standard gravel or road groupset (Shimano GRX 600/800/815, SRAM Force/Rival XPLR, Campagnolo Ekar)
- Electronic — Shimano: Di2 12-speed (GRX Di2, Ultegra Di2, Dura-Ace Di2) — junction box routes internally
- Electronic — SRAM: eTap AXS (Force AXS, Rival AXS, Apex AXS) — wireless, no wired routing required
- Electronic — Campagnolo: EPS — compatible with ACR internal routing
- 1x & 2x: Both drivetrain configurations are supported
What's Included

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I run 650B wheels on the G3?
Yes. The G3 is designed to accept both 700C and 650B wheel sizes. With 650B wheels, you can typically run wider tyres (e.g. 650Bx47–50mm) that maintain a similar overall diameter to a 700x35–40C setup, which can be useful for technical terrain or riders who prefer a larger volume tyre.
Is the G3 a noticeable upgrade from the G2?
Yes, meaningfully so. The G3 reduces frame weight by a significant margin compared to the G2, improves bottom bracket and head tube stiffness, and refines the aerodynamic profile. Riders upgrading from the G2 report a noticeably stiffer, more responsive feel — particularly in sprints and on technical climbs — without sacrificing the compliance that made the G2 popular for long days.
Does the frameset come with a headset?
No. The G3 requires an FSA ACR headset (1-1/2" / 1-1/2" integrated). This is a purpose-designed headset that also manages cable routing into the fork. FSA ACR headsets are available from most bike shops. Please confirm you have the correct headset before building.
What disc brake rotors does the G3 accept?
Flat mount disc brakes, 140mm front and rear as standard. 160mm rotors are compatible with a flat-to-flat rotor adapter on the rear. Most gravel riders run 160mm front / 140mm rear as a popular configuration.
What is the warranty on the G3 frameset?
Winspace provides a 3-year manufacturer warranty on frames and framesets, counted from the date of receipt by the original buyer. Warranty covers manufacturing defects. As an authorised Australian distributor of Winspace, CTN / PDL.Bike provides local warranty support.
Is a bike fit recommended before ordering?
For a $2,499 frameset, a professional bike fit is a worthwhile investment — particularly if you're between sizes, coming from a different style of riding, or building your first gravel-specific bike. A fitter can recommend the right frame size and inform your stem, bar, and seatpost choices so the complete build is dialled from day one. Contact us if you'd like a recommendation for a fitter in your area.
