The Lun Hyper 5 60mm is built for one thing: going as fast as possible on flat ground. At 1,350g the pair, with a 377 GPa carbon rim, hidden spoke nipple design, ceramic bearings, and a titanium ratchet hub at 298g per pair, the D60 is 71g lighter and 2W faster at 48 km/h than its predecessor. On a flat course in manageable conditions, it is the most aerodynamically efficient wheel in the Hyper 5 range.

Why the 60mm?
The 60mm depth rewards confident handling and performs best when the terrain is flat and you can stay on the power. For time trials, flat stage races, triathlons, and exposed criteriums where aerodynamics are everything, the D60 is the wheel you reach for. Choose it for the right course and it will not disappoint.

A flush spoke design creates a cleaner rim profile, reducing turbulence and aerodynamic drag where it matters most.
Tubeless Ready
23mm internal / 30.5mm external rim width, optimised for 25–40mm tyres at up to 120 psi. Works with standard clincher setups too.
2:1 Carbon Spoke Lacing
21 spokes front and rear in a 2:1 pattern, balancing stiffness and weight distribution for maximum power transfer and durability.

Does the wheelset come with a freehub?
Yes — choose your hub type at checkout. Shimano covers most 11/12-speed setups, SRAM XDR for AXS groupsets, Campagnolo and N3W for Campy drivetrains. The wheelset ships complete with your selected freehub body fitted. Not sure which to choose? Get in touch and we’ll help.
Will these fit my disc brake road bike?
Yes — the Hyper 5 uses 12mm through-axle spacing (front 100mm / rear 142mm), which is the standard for disc road bikes since 2016. Not compatible with rim brake frames.
Are they tubeless ready?
Yes. All Hyper 5 rims use tubeless-compatible bead seat geometry. Standard clincher tyres with inner tubes also work perfectly.
