Race-Grade Carbon for the Gravel Stage
The Winspace Lún Gryper steps up where the GRAPID leaves off. Toray T700 and T800 carbon fibre construction, full carbon T-shape aero spokes, and a ratchet SMN V1 hub system — this is the wheelset spec you'd find on a dedicated gravel race build. At 1,290g for the 35mm depth, the Gryper delivers race-ready performance with the tyre clearance (32–50mm) and tubeless compatibility for the longest, roughest events on the calendar. Available in UD Matte Black with white decals or classic matte black finish.
Toray T700 + T800 carbon construction with full carbon T-shape aero spokes — the Gryper is built to the same spec as high-end road wheelsets, tuned for gravel demands.

Toray T700 + T800 Carbon Construction
Winspace specifies Toray's premium T700 and T800 carbon fibres in the Gryper rim layup — the same materials used in high-end road frames. T800 delivers superior stiffness-to-weight; T700 adds impact toughness. The result is a rim that's both lighter and more resilient than single-modulus designs.
T-Shape Carbon Aero Spokes
Where the GRAPID uses Pillar 1420 steel bladed spokes, the Gryper steps up to full carbon T-shape aero spokes. Lower mass, better aerodynamics, and significantly reduced rotational inertia — the difference is felt immediately on acceleration out of corners and technical sections.
Ratchet SMN V1 Hub System
The ratchet engagement hub delivers instant, positive power transfer with minimal dead angle. Compared to standard pawl-based hubs, ratchet-style engagement is more durable under repeated load cycles and has a sharper, more mechanical feel that gravel racers prefer for technical terrain.
25mm Internal — 34mm External Width
At 34mm external width the Gryper rim is wider than the GRAPID's 32mm, for improved aerodynamic transition to the tyre sidewall. The 25mm internal cavity handles 32–50mm tyres for race-day slicks through to adventure knobblies.
Tubeless-Ready, 32–50mm Tyre Range
Engineered specifically for the demands of gravel racing — where tyre choice is a performance variable, not just a comfort adjustment. Tubeless-compatible rim bed supports running lower pressures for better traction without pinch-flat risk. Run a 32mm at 40psi on the race course, or a 45mm at 25psi on the adventure route.
Shimano, SRAM, Campagnolo and Microspline Freehubs
Available with Shimano 11/12-speed, SRAM XDR 12-speed, Shimano Microspline 12-speed, and Campagnolo 10/11/12-speed freehub configurations — one of the broadest compatibility ranges in its class. Center-lock disc brake mount.

Why the 35mm?
Light enough for punchy climbs, stiff enough to sprint at race speed, and shallow enough that crosswinds on exposed gravel are manageable rather than frightening. The 35mm depth is the choice for hilly gravel races, events with significant climbing, and riders who want a single wheelset that handles both race day and the training rides leading up to it.
Compare Depths
The Gryper comes in two rim depths. Same hub, same carbon spokes, same construction — the depth changes the character.

FAQ
Does the wheelset come with a freehub body fitted?
Yes — choose your hub type at checkout (Shimano, SRAM XDR, or Campagnolo). The wheelset ships complete with your selected freehub body already installed. Not sure which you need? Get in touch before ordering and we'll confirm the right fit for your drivetrain.
What tyre widths will fit?
The Gryper rim is designed for 32–50mm tyres. The 25mm internal width is the sweet spot for running modern 38–45mm gravel tyres tubeless at lower pressures. Narrower 32mm race tyres work fine; you can push to 50mm for bikepacking or adventure setups.
Are these tubeless ready?
Yes. The Gryper rim uses a tubeless-compatible bead seat geometry. Standard tubeless valves are included. You'll need tubeless-compatible tyres and sealant — we can advise on setup if needed.
What's in the box?
Front and rear wheel with selected freehub body fitted, tubeless valve stems (pair), and Winspace user guide and warranty documentation.
