The SRAM Red/Force AXS Disc Brake Hose Fitting Kit is the complete connection hardware for cutting and installing hydraulic brake hose on SRAM AXS 2-piece hydraulic disc brake calipers. Each set provides everything you need for one caliper-end hose connection: a threaded hose barb, short compression nut, boot, and red compression olive. This 5-pack gets you through five hose installs — a full workshop stock — and includes the T8 Torx key needed to torque the barb correctly.
AXS 2-piece calipers need a different fitting. SRAM's Red AXS and Force AXS hydraulic disc brake calipers use a 2-piece caliper design where the hose enters through a compression nut and boot assembly — not the lever-style barb-and-olive only connection. This kit includes the correct short compression nut and boot for the caliper end. It is not a substitute for the Stealthamajig (lever-end kit) — you may need both for a full hose install.
What's in the kit
5× Threaded hose barbs
The barb threads into the caliper body and the brake hose slides over it. SRAM-spec threading — do not substitute with aftermarket barbs. Torque to spec with the included T8 Torx key.
5× Short compression nuts
The "short nut" that threads onto the caliper inlet to capture the olive and create the hydraulic seal. Specific to the AXS 2-piece caliper design — shorter than lever-end compression hardware to suit the caliper port geometry.
5× Boots
Rubber boot that covers the caliper hose entry point, keeping water and contamination away from the hydraulic connection. Slides over the hose before cutting — route hose, fit boot, then crimp olive and seat barb.
5× Red compression olives
The red-coloured olive that crimps onto the hose outer braid to create the hydraulic seal against the barb. Red colour distinguishes AXS-spec olives from Avid-era silver olives — use only the correct generation for your caliper.
1× T8 Torx tool
T8 Torx key for torquing the threaded hose barb into the caliper body. One tool is included per kit — sufficient for all five installs. Torque the barb before fitting the olive and compression nut assembly.
